Sales: We are currently accepting applications for Sales Director. The Sales Director is responsible for planning, developing and implementing the organization’s sales and marketing strategies. Maintains and/or improves upon the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with marketing and business plans. Develops objectives, policies and sales processes for all marketing and sales activities. Oversees the development and implementation of support materials & services in the area of marketing required for a sale. Works closely with the Communications Manager in developing those materials and in the branding and communications strategies used to increase awareness of the Community. Trains and supervises Sales personnel in accomplishing objectives. Understands rules and regulations as applied to a CCRC. Provides assistance to the CEO and other internal stakeholders on sales and marketing issues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline expected. Graduate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with demonstrated success in a Sales leadership position.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing and sales activities.
  • Computer literacy with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to train and develop staff.
  • Availability to work beyond traditional business days / hours.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License (preferably issued in Texas) and must be able to drive.
  • Must be able to walk up to several hours a day.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Environmental Services: We are currently accepting applications for Full-time Make Ready Technicians. Hours are Mon – Fri (8 – 4:30) or as needed by the ARC, schedule may change as the needs of the ARC require, may be necessary to work weekend on occasion or as required.

PURPOSE OF JOB : The Primary responsibility is to assist in the transitioning of a vacated unit, cottage in order to enhance its appearance and bring the units condition to “Pristine Market Ready”. Responsible for service of all systems (plumbing, electrical, appliances), repairs, and upgraded improvements of the Army Residence Community’s cottages and apartments programmed for turnover to Sales for showing prospective residents. This job includes giving recommendations to the Manager to ensure the living-unit is completely ready for moving into a week before scheduled. This position is also tasked to perform duties as assigned with regards to community special projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 plus successful years related experience required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid, current Driver’s License.
  • Uses good safety habits at all times.
  • Professional & Neat, Clean appearance.
  • Ability to work well in Team environment with wide range of people.
  • Must be willing to work overtime if needed
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure repairs & quality of work are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must be flexible regarding work assignments
  • Comply with OSHA standards
  • Needs to be thorough, reliable, responsible, honest, organized, flexible and service-oriented.

Health Care/ Resident Services: We are currently accepting applications for Full-time Social WorkerResponsible for identifying Residents’ psychosocial, mental and emotional needs along with providing, developing, and/or aiding in the access of services to meet those needs in accordance with policies and procedures, and current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Responsible for fostering a climate, supporting policies, and establishing routines that enable Residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity. This climate shall provide Residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops a comprehensive social history and psychosocial assessment that includes the Resident's problems, strengths, and preferences, including cultural, religious, and ethnic background and implications for the care plan.
  • Mediates issues that arise among Residents, families and staff.
  • Helps Residents and families prepare for and cope with losses, including aging and death. Provides information and forms for Advance Directives, D.N.R., MPOA, and POA.
  • Trains and consults with staff regarding psychosocial needs that encompass social, ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity of individual Residents, the Resident group as a whole, and families to increase staff sensitivity.
  • Assesses Residents’ needs to move along continuum of care. Provides information, referral, and assistance as necessary to facilitate the best outcome.
  • Tracks and assess effectiveness of providing social work services quarterly and annually.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work
  • Licensed by the State Board of Social Work
  • Two years of long term care required
  • MDS and care planning experience required
  • Prior work with elders in a community
  • Must have skills in communication, assessment and social work methods and techniques
  • Must have a working understanding of social systems along with the ability to implement pertinent state and federal regulations
  • Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, and support agencies
  • Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

Information Systems: We are currently accepting applications for Full-time Information Systems Technician: Support Information Systems department by responding to work orders placed by residents and staff, troubleshooting the problem and resolve. To be main point of contact for cable TV, high-speed data, business cell/push-talk phones, and telephones for the community. The technician would co-ordinate, install, troubleshoot, or repair, and/or escalate accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of one to two years of training at a vocational or community college
  • Experience can be substituted for education requirements
  • Must be a self-starter, a team player, have the skills to follow through on assignments and produce positive results
  • Must have great interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with non-technical and geriatric populace
  • Rotating on-call schedule or after hour emergency response
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures; Main Distribution Facility (MDF), Independent Distribution Facility (IDF), cabling infrastructure
  • Ability to diagnose problems and work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must have great decision making skills due to actions having a noticeable effect department or company wide
  • Working knowledge with Microsoft Office, PC operating systems
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures, Main Distribution Frame (MDF), Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF), cabling infrastructure
  • Familiar with Windows Server
  • Cisco CCNA, Network, Security, A+ certifications a plus
