ARC's History and Overview

The Army Residence Community was founded in 1987 by a group of visionaries who dreamed of building a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) for retired military officers. That vision has resulted in one of the country’s finest accredited military retirement homes. Here, roughly 750 retired officers, their spouses, widows, and widowers, share a proud background of selfless service to their country. This is a family with a distinctive camaraderie that extends the hand of friendship to every resident.

Throughout its history, the ARC has continually evolved and grown to meet the needs of residents. With a new generation of retirees searching for attractive retirement options, the ARC continues to expand, modernize and construct new amenities.
