Everything about the health and wellness services and facilities at Army Residence Community exceeds expectations. ARC residents are a health-conscious population, dedicated to well being. To accommodate the needs of all, the ARC recently built an 18,000 square foot Wellness & Fitness Center. And if residents should need health care, we offer assisted living, short-term and long-term skilled nursing care and a dementia wing. The ARC offers residents professional care for short- and long-term illnesses and conditions that do not require hospitalization or are not beyond the ARC’s scope of services. Minor emergency treatment is also available to residents.

CARE – We know that moving into a health care facility is the last thing anyone wants – and we naturally cling to our independence as long as we can. But when health care is needed, residents are grateful for the continuum of quality care they can count on at the ARC.

And we offer a rare and unexpected element – a dedicated corps of 100 generous and compassionate volunteers who visit and assist residents – bringing news, conversation, magazines, snacks, special courtesies … and the warmth of friendship.

CONNECTION – Staff and volunteers develop a real connection to our health care residents. They get to know each other and are connected by common ideals, including service to their country and their communities. Many have served side-by-side in military service and feel a deep sense of connection to their extended military family.

CONTINUITY – The ARC is home to more than 600 residents and the turnover rate of residents and health care staff is extremely low. Over time, we become family. Continuity of care means familiar, friendly faces … and a staff and volunteers who are looking out for our health care residents as they would for their own loved ones.
