Residents in assisted living enjoy the same activities and amenities as our independent living residents … with the added benefit of professional nursing assistance as individual need requires, including help with medications, assistance with daily living activities and treatment for minor health issues. They reside in private rooms that are furnished with their own treasured belongings and include two closets, custom window treatments, carpeting, electric beds, refrigerator, telephone and cable TV. They socialize with other residents in a lovely dining room, enjoying three delicious, nutritious meals daily. ARC residents are friendly and enjoy each other’s company – and we encourage the fun with stimulating activities, parties and frequent outings. Volunteers lend a priceless dimension to residents, spreading cheer and friendship and offering assistance in countless ways.
Please watch this space for updates on the ARC’s plan to build new household-style hospitality clusters that more closely resemble family households than traditional institutional model assisted living facilities.
