Community: History/Overview A Beautiful Campus, Extraordinary Facilities and Services And a Unique Purpose Set the ARC Apart

The Army Residence Community was founded in 1987 by a group of retired military officers interested in establishing a first class retirement facility for retired military officers and their spouses representing all branches of U.S. military service. The ARC has since grown into an active, close-knit community where residents share a proud background of selfless service to their country. This common purpose sets the ARC apart from other retirement communities and creates a friendly environment where every resident is a part of this extended family.

Many attractive facilities contribute to the inviting atmosphere – including lovely private residences, a beautiful tree-shaded campus, elegantly-appointed dining areas and lobbies, a state-of-the-art Wellness/Fitness Center, a full spectrum of services, a beautiful non-denominational chapel, guest suites and comprehensive health services that include Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and The Oaks Memory Care.

At the ARC, our residents’ well-being is paramount. From the gated security with 24-hour guards to the closed circuit TV to a host of personal security devices and services, you’ll feel a sense of peace, knowing that the ARC places the highest value on your safety, health and security.

Throughout its history, the ARC has continually evolved and grown to meet the needs of residents. Now, as a new generation of retirees begins to search for meaningful retirement options, the ARC has purchased an additional 88 acres of land adjacent to the campus. We are constructing modern homes, dining venues and other amenities to appeal to the tastes and expectations of this discerning population.

At present, the ARC is home to 600 residents. For eligibility requirements, click About Us> Who We Serve, Eligibility, and to schedule a tour, contact ARC Marketing at 1-800-725-0083 or 210-646-5316.
