The ARC maintains a Priority List that includes all individuals and couples who have submitted an Application for Priority and a deposit of $1,500 for a couple or $1,000 for an individual. Positions on the Priority List are assigned sequentially upon the Community’s receipt of an application for priority and the required deposit, together with the sponsor’s Report of Separation from the U.S. Armed Services, DD Form 214.

A position on the Priority List ensures that you retain your sequence until you enter the Community, which gives you preferential selection of residences. The Board recommends that eligible individuals who are considering an eventual move to the Community submit an Application for Priority to retain these advantages.

Those who hold a slot on the Priority List are moved to the Waiting List when they are ready to move to the ARC. At this time, they may select up to three choices of the type and size residence they prefer and they will be placed on the Waiting List, in sequence, by Priority Number.

Once you’ve been offered the type and size residence you prefer and you accept, you’re ready to complete the standard admissions procedures, which include a down payment, pre-entrance physical examination and associated fees.
